.package

Hello all, thanks in advance!

I am having trouble with opening .package files. I have permissions set right, but I am trying to do it wrong I guess. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Ryan

Re: .package

I have no idea, what .package files do. Try running the 'file' command. "$ file something.package" or similar. I found some included in the codeblocks svn trunk. They were only plain text files. So open them with a text editor.

Re: .package

I also get this error when trying to double click it when using Thunar:

The autopackage support code could not be installed.

It can be manually downloaded and installed by running the
installation script located in the downloaded archive.

So I need to install autopackage?
