Lost LVM2 partition

Hallo
I have an older h/d that i kept from old pc . i tried to see the data that is on it and discovered that it has a  LVM volume but the result of
pvdisplay is
home ]#"/dev/usbhd-sdc5" is a new physical volume of "232,65 GB"
  --- NEW Physical volume ---
  PV Name               /dev/usbhd-sdc5
  VG Name
  PV Size               232,65 GB
  Allocatable           NO
  PE Size (KByte)       0
  Total PE              0
  Free PE               0
  Allocated PE          0
  PV UUID               9fYozX-SM7n-086Q-gmUg-skov-qHvh-woS6BW

so there is no volume group or it is lost hmmmm!!!. is there a way to recreate the vg again or recover the data on this hard disk .
i google with no results .
