Photo support on ipod classic? [solved]

Has anyone found a way to transfer photos to a 6th gen ipod classic?

I've tried gpixpod, gtkpod and the kipi photo export...none of those seem to support the newer ipods.

Google isnt turning up much so I was hoping someone had some luck with this...

i've not tried photos, but the svn snapshot of gtkpod works well with my ipod touch.  you may want to try that, there are svn packages in the aur. you'll also need the svn snapshot of libgpod if you wanna try this.

the svn gtkpod/libgpod did the trick. I lucked out and didnt have to manually add the ID..

i've been trying to get my ipod touch working the last couple of days but i haven't found any useful info on how to do except in Ubuntu. So did you do anything special to get it working?

Well, If your device has had songs transfered from itunes you should be ok. If not or if you restored it you have to work it a little bit to get things going.  I believe this is when you may need to manually create the file mentioned in the ubuntu wiki.  Of course you'll also need gtkpod and libgpod svn versions from aur as mentioned above.. Do you have those already?
What problems are you having exactly? transferring images or music as well?

i do have songs transferred from itunes and i use the svn versions of libgpod and gtkpod. basicly my problem is that gtkpod doesn't recognize my ipod touch. Anyway, i was checking the ipod-convenience tool from the ubuntu guide and i think that it will hopefully get me somewhere:P

unfortunately i don't have any more time now so i will check it sometime tomorrow or during the weekend.
