can't sync abs tree

[2] root:/home/sero # abs
Name lookup failure for "cvs.archlinux.org": Host name lookup failed

anyone know what the problem might be? i can connect to http://cvs.archlinux.org in my browser. yes i have cvsup and wget installed. thanks.

perhaps it was the time when you tried i can sync without a problem. your pacman package may be out of date as well?

just some guesses.

i wonder if it's because it's the nptl pacman? how can i change it back to current?
