rhythmbox won't play

I'm getting this error message:

Ah, indeed, it's fixed now. The problem was I couldn't select ALSA from the gstreamer-properties. So I did what was asked, upgraded gstreamer (but it was already up-to-date, so basicly, reinstall) and ALSA was available. It works now!

i had the same problem with gnome last week, and a simple "gst-register" on the console solved this problem.

if this can help other users...
