(Solved sort of)Amarok suddenly associated with all my desktop folders
When ever I try to open a desktop folder Amarok tries to start even desktop config files. This just started.

Are you using gnome or kde? Nautilus seems to have this problem occasionally. http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=46882

I'm using kde. I checked the file associations in kde and they had been changed somehow "not by me"
