Keyboard lags and sticks when in conjunction with the touchpad
I guess that the subject says everything. When the touchpad is on, I'm experiencing keyboard lags and some sticky keys. When I turn off the touchpad everything is OK. I browsed the web for that, it seems that there is an old issue about that (around 2006). The only way around I found that was working for me was
modprobe -r psmouse
modprobe -r psmouse rate=40It is quite ugly. Any ideas for what causing this and a better solution?

If reloading the psmouse module with the rate=40 option solves it, why not add that to modprobe.conf so the module is loaded that way in the beginning?
