[using handbrakegtk instead] Acidrip and xvid
When I choose to encode a DVD to xvid with Acidrip and click Start, it flickers and brings me back to Acidrip. Any idea why it won't start? It'll encode to lavc just fine, but youtube doesn't support that.
And for the record, I'm putting up a video that my friend made on DVD.

x264 does the same thing yet x264 is installed on my system.

I found handbrakegtk to be a better, more robust solution
