Xorg use 100% CPU when gnome-system-monitor running

Hello,

When I launch gnome-system-monitor, Xorg is taking 100 % of the CPU. I'm running Arch i686, ATI 9600 with open source drivers.

Thanks a lot

I had the same problem with the nv-driver (open source - no hardware acceleration), but after switching to the official nvidia driver it now works perfect. I think the issue is that gnome-system-monitor has started using some fancy graphics for the graphs which requires hardware acceleration, so make sure you've enabled it! I have a system running the open source ati drivers with hardware acceleration with no problems.

Thank you for the bug information!

@ tgc : it wasn't coming from direct rendering, because it was activated.
