You'll probably want to use netcfg to sort out your wireless connections:
flack 2.0.6: menu-driven BASH script to easily tag FLAC files (AUR)
knock-once 1.2: BASH script to easily create/send one-time sequences for knockd (forum/AUR)

i have red that but still i need some help:
this is my /etc/rc.conf

You need to add "net-profiles" to your Daemons list to make it work with netcfg2. I have the same card and i do not have "ipw2200" in my daemons list.
Also i see that you have networkmanager installed, i don't know whether netcfg2 and networkmanager are compatible when loaded together so just install one or put a "!" in front of networkmanager.

just want to be clear with this, do you mean i need to remove iwp2200 and install netcfg2 instead.
-how to create the "net-profiles"?
what i have done was, i went to "/etc/network.d/examples" file and copy the content to
# nano /etc/network.d/a7medwls
CONNECTION="wireless"
INTERFACE=wlan0
SCAN="yes"
SECURITY="wpa"
ESSID="mynetwork"
KEY="SomePasskey"
IP="dhcp"
TIMEOUT=20
but dont know if this is the right way.

iwp2200 should be in the MODULES line in rc.conf. What goes in the KEY line of your profile is the hex value.

KEY = hex value
It is my understanding that to use wpa, you need wpa_supplicant. Install it and check the man page for how to configure. The wiki page for wpa_supplicant seems to be out of date.
