Virtualbox-OSE errors - libqt-mt.so.3 error

I cannot start Virtualbox running virtualbox in the terminal. I hope that command would lead to a GUI - I just tried it as starting it from the Panel didn't work out.

It gives me the following output:

$ virtualbox 
virtualbox: error while loading shared libraries: libqt-mt.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

EDIT: Solved by installing qt3 and sdl. Sorry for being a mule. Can be deleted.

I cheated and copied libqt-mt.so.3 from /opt/google-earth to /usr/lib and it worked.

Same problem here, except that I do have the qt3 and sdl packages installed. A soft link in /usr/lib to the qt library directory worked for me, but I'm curious as to why it doesn't work otherwise.
