I think the phoenix package should be renamed to firebird.
can i simply build firebird with the PKGBUILD from phoenix?
And are you planning to include thunderbird?

I did a makepkg, and i got a build firebird. I adapted the PKGBUILD and i will post it when i've tested it

done, even posting from it now! i put phoenix-0.6.tar.gz in incoming. i have not included the build pkg because it was 12M so download it and do a pkgbuild if you want to test it
