Virtualbox, seamless unavailable

I have a winxp vm in virtualbox. Runs fine but I want to run it seamlessly. I've installed virtualbox-ose, virtualbox-ose-additions, virtualbox-ose-additions-modules and virtualbox-ose-xorg-driver, yet the option to run seamlessly is still grayed out. What am I missing here?

Don't you have to install some vmtools on your windows xp client.

There should be an option on the vmware server to do this.

I think that will solve your problem

you need to install additional tools in xp.

devices->install additional tools in the xp window
