Suspend to disk doesn't turn off

I have suspend/resume working (added the resume hook to mkinitcpio.conf and the resume=... option in GRUB), but when I suspend to disk, the power never actually turns off. I have to wait for disk activity to finish, then hold the power button to kill it. Resuming works fine. This is on an HP Pavilion dv5000t.

Re: Suspend to disk doesn't turn off

It also occasionally doesn't come back from suspending to RAM, but I think this is an unrelated issue.
