first update error

Hi. I just reinstalled arch linux following the beginner guide. I ran pacman -Syu for first major updates and it gave me some weird error

error: could not prepare transaction
error: failed to commit transaction  (conflicting files)
gpm: /usr/lib/libgpm.so.1 exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

Someone plz gives me some advices.

Re: first update error

The solution is:

pacman -Syf gpm
pacman -Syu

There is an announcement on the front page and several other posts about this on the forum.
