just installed Xfce4...

just installed Xfce4 by following instruction on Wiki.

But the problem is when i exec startxfce4, all i see is sky blue-ish color of screen with

a mouse point, but nothing else...

I dont know what is problem, i thought even if there is no icon, there should be some kind of start menu or something but nothing...

thnx

Re: just installed Xfce4...

Add "exec startxfce4" to .xinitrc in your home directory.  That way, xfce4 will start when you start X.

You can add a graphical login manager as well:  http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GDM

Re: just installed Xfce4...

If you experience a sluggish XFCE, please do what's described under http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beg … tc.2Fhosts That should fix your problem.
