When I boot up now, I can't login, and the network isn't logged in like it normally is. I am on ethernet, so it should be automatic. Also, Entrance doens't start up. It stops after saying it is done starting Cron. Help, please.

Do a
#dhcpcd eth0
to get the network running.
Also, is the normal console login available?
Also try adding " 3" or "single" to the end of your kernel line in grub and enter in single user mode. So that it goes right to the shell and fix your problems there. For example install slim or something like that and check if it works ..

Ok, I will run dhcpcd. This happened after I installed splashy, could that have anything to do with it?

I found the problem. Somehow, my modules list got erased. What should be in there?

When you installed Splashy, your /etc/rc.conf got backed up to /etc/rc.conf.pacsave. Look in that file and copy the daemons line.

Thanks, that fixed it.
