d-bus error & emesene wont start

1. When D-Bus starts it shows an error :
"Unknown username "avahi" in message bus configuration file"

2. I click the emesene icon it takes its time trying to load (bouncing cursor appears) and then it dissapears.

How the above can be solved?

The Avahi daemon fails to start. I followed the wiki in order to install it.
