Yes I am having this problem too.
I do not think you can blame Epiphany for this, but Gecko, unless you have a better display in some other distro ... ?
Epiphany uses Gecko (firefox's engine) to render web pages.
Also I am not sure whether this can be fixed or if we will have to wait for the next Gecko release (with Firefox 3 ?).
Firefox 3 is said to have better native toolkit integration...
However the next Epiphany version, 2.24, will not use Gecko anymore but Webkit.
Let's hope it will be better for such a problem !!!

That's not a "problem" - it's the way it is, really. Epiphany uses the Gecko engine, which can't use Gtk widgets on the web pages.
Epiphany with Webkit now uses Gtk widgets natively.

I'm hoping webkit in epiphany will be better then it is with midori...
In firefox2 there is a widget fix.

Epiphany with WebKit will be great I think!!
BTW: What is wrong with WebKit in Midori (other than Midori being pre alpha).

the one thing that pissed me off in midori was not being able to open things in a new tab with ctrl-click
Any solutions?

alex_anthony: Go, Edit > Prefs > Interface and check "open tabs in background"... now at least when you middle click (to buttons at the same time if no mouse wheel) it will open up in a new background tab.
Works for me
