Help my build KDE desktop

Hi,

I've just installed KDEmod and now I really love my desktop, but I don't know QT applications so I need help.
Heres a list of what I need:

Image viewer - ? (now I have mirage but It's maybe too simple and it's GTK)
Image editor - GIMP - there is no other option am I right?
PDF viewer - ?
IRC - ? (now I have irssi and it's good but I'm wondering if there is something for KDE)
Text editor - ?
Can you recommend me any other useful apps?

Thx for help.

Re: Help my build KDE desktop

Image viewer - kuickshow (part of kdegraphics)

Image editor - kolourpaint (part of kdegraphics)

IRC - use a console based client. Add an irc profile to konsole (that will auto start the client) and customize it to look cool

Text editor - kwrite

Music - noatun (part of kdemultimedia)

Video - kaffeine

Disk use - kdiskfree (run kdf from alt F2) and konqueror file size view mode

Stuff i do as soon as i install new KDE

Configure switching desktops with the mouse thru the edges of the screen
control center - desktop - window behavior - advanced - active desktop borders

Configure mouse motions as application control (similar to keyboard shortcuts)
control center - regional and accessibility - input actions

Set the music player to be allways on top
alt F3 in player window - advanced - special window settings

Go thru the entire look and feel section

Hide the menu in konqueror and save it in all the view profiles

Remove all menus / toolbars / status bars from kopete chat and friend list windows
