foobillard causing session to end?

I ran the game foobillard a few times before. it's pretty cool and
didn't have any issues with it running. I just tried running it after
the xfree86 ungrade and every time I execute it the kde session
ends. I'm not saying that the xfee upgrade causes this. I may
have broke something when messing with sound modules, although
I doubt it. It's kind of weird that the game causes the session to end.

Err, yeah, it probably is the wrong place.

Anyway, do you happen to use nvidia drivers? I had this problem once (foobillard & others ending the X session after an X upgrade), and I later found that all I needed to do was reinstall the nvidia drivers. Might be true for ATI drivers as well.

yea, sorry! It was a simple issue that totally confused me at first.

you use the nvidia-settings program?
if yes:
try to delete your .nvidia-config.rc in your home directoy
and test it if it runs now flaswlessly the new tool is a little bit buggy ;-)
