giFT errors on start
I installed giFT using pacman, but the daemon abort on start with the following message:
giFT: share_db.c:323: rec_rdfinish: Assertion `rec->offs == rec->len' failed.
I ran giFT-setup before I tried to start giFT.
Any ideas?

looks like some sort of database error. unfortunately i have no suggestions, other than to try rebuilding it, to make as i cannot even get my giFT working now either. it just up and stopped work for me in both linux and OS X.

oh well, i guess i didn't really need that music anyway 
I recompiled it in the abs tree, then installed the new pkg using pacman -A. Same error. I'll try again later. Maybe giFT cvs is borked?

I was using it last night!
I'll have to try a clean install of it, instead of trying it on the system that I compile it on...
