how did you tried? PKGBUILD? output of trouble?

No, I just downloaded the source from the actual website, and the compile succeeds, but the binary won't run. Missing (gambas' own) libraries that the MAKE should compile, but for some reason I can't work out, doesn't. According the the README it won't compile on >=GCC 3.3. I have 3.4 here.
I was hoping someone was around with an older version of GCC to build it and make a package.
Why, have you managed to get it going?
