[SOLVED] bus error

Hi when I try to run

# rankmirrors /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist > /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist.new
Bus error

I recieve a "Bus error."  This is all that is outputted.  Does anyone know what causes this and how i fix it?

*UPDATE* I have also found that I get the error whenever i try to use 'wget'

*SOLVED* though i had the package openssh I was missing openssl so a re installation of openssh solved the problem.
