Sound has suddenly died (Resolved)
The sound on my system has suddenly died. I tried restarting it from kcontrol's sound module, but that didn't work. It would either take forever to restart (if at all) or restart and not play any sound.
Does anyone have an idea on what the problem might be, and how I could diagnose the problem?

Never mind. The problem seems to have taken care of itself when I rebooted my computer.
