chroot and .bashrc

Hello!
I have been using Archlinux for about 6 months and loving it! I recently switched from 32-bit to 64-bit. Everything has been pretty easy so far thanks to the wiki and the forums. However I have been unable to figure out something with my 32-bit chroot. It is probably a very simple thing to do but I am still a linux newbie. When I chroot to my 32-bit installation it is not reading in the .bashrc unless I do it manually (source .bashrc). I have put the .bashrc in my /opt/arch32/root/ directory, but it still does me no good. I was thinking that maybe i could make a script that would automatically load it after I do my chroot command. The goal was to set up the chroot prompt to tell me if i am in arch 32-bit, but right now it still uses the old .bashrc for my user.

A few things about my system:
1. x86_64 (of coarse!)
2. Using XFCE DE
3. I followed the "Disable root password and gain su sudo with no password" wiki http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dis … o_password

If any other info is needed I will post it.

I think that the problem could be that im using sudo instead of using su because my root account is locked.
Other than this I have had no real issues with Archlinux, it has been a fun learning experience!
Thanks for any advice you can give me.
