Icon Based "Panels"

I recently tried avant-window-navigator and loved the style of icon based application switching, but it was extremely buggy in openbox. (Takes focus on a huge portion of the screen and anything below was unclickable)

I'm looking for a navigator that is icon based like avant that works well in openbox. Compositing or not is not an issue.

Are there any screenlet navigators or the like?

Cairo-dock works quite well.
Get the SVN version from AUR
