kernel with numa support

How easy would it be to get this enabled in the arch64 kernel. I suppose i'm talking to the 64bit kernel package manager.

A lot of dual processor AMD system have numa capabilities. And i suspect there will be qute a number of dual processor owners here.

Also, will there really be a performance increase by enabling this?

Re: kernel with numa support

File a feature request in the bug tracker and post the link back here. That way the devs will see it for certain, and other users can contribute with their experiences.

Re: kernel with numa support

isn't it just about setting CONFIG_NUMA=y in your kernel config ?

Re: kernel with numa support

Yes, But does mean I have to keep recompiling the kernel myself. Its a simple option and will only activate if numa support is detected.
