If you are requesting a packaged version of Real Player I don't think it can be done because of the licencing. Even the "package" Debian had was not truly a prepackaged version.

Helix Player is Real's Open Source (in a very true sense of the word, if I understand correctly) player.

Sure, but you need some tweak for plug-ins and MIME, that 's why we need a package to do such thing nut manually every time.
