I have been following the progress of this game but have not got time to play it at the moment (I have 4 games for the Wii that have not even made it in the machine). Let us know what you think of it.
BTW, where in NZ are you from. I'm originally from Dunedin.

Played through the Intro, its up my alley atleast, it basically combines a Sam & Max/Monkey Island type game with a Final Fantasy Type game. Ran sweet as in my 32 bit chroot. Graphics and story are brilliant, as is the strange disembodied voice lol.

Hm, well I will have to download the demo as well and see how it goes for me, if I like it, it might be the first computer game I buy for a long time, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was the latest when I still had Windows installed on another HDD on my machine.

I played the demo and bought the key for full-version some days later. Now I played the first episode, I'm sure it was a good decision which gave me much fun for some evenings.
and I think I will play it again with other characters until the second episode will be released

Yes, the barbershop guys aren't easy, everyone has another strength and weakness. Did you took a look in the dossier for them?

Found a silly bug in the demo, if you go back to previous area all the items are again there (trashcans, boxes, etc).

I think this is a feature, not a bug.
You can fill up your inventory this way, if you use a lot of buffs and debuffs. Many Items are empty in the second turn or, related to randomization and a max count of things you can take, you often get things you already got maxed in your inventory.

Me too, i think it may be because of 64 bit system? But i didn't yet had much time to investigate...

I run it on my 64bit under a 32 bit chroot, worked fine. The game doesnt play nice with OSS4 afaik if your using that?

I use Alsa, I have some lib32xxx packages and thought that i'd do (Skype / Wine no problems so long). Don't have 32bit chroot.

I'm getting a segfault when trying to run the game (r4):
rpj8 rainslickep1_linux_r4 $ ./RainSlickEp1
./RainSlickEp1: line 20: 5314 Segmentation fault ./RainSlickEp1_bin
rpj8 rainslickep1_linux_r4 $ ./RainSlickEp1_bin
Segmentation fault
Also, I had to copy libfmodex.so and libfmodevent.so to /lib/ by hand in order for the game to even pop up (which I'm pretty sure is an improper way of doing this).
Edit:
Just re-downloaded the game and everything's A-OK. Dunno what happened.
