Hi,
I need to compile a program which needs as a makedep libSoundTouch Development libreries, however the soundtouch package in the repos don0t include this and there's nothing in AUR.
I was using a wicked workaround grabbing a package from debian, but it's no longer working.
I also checked the SoundTouch website, but I couldn't find anything about those, nor in google...
Thanks in advance

Hey great I noticed you've uploaded Psychosynth. Is this regarding that? If so:
svn co http://proaudio.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/psychosynth psychosynth
I wrote the patch a while ago. You may want to take a look at it and update your package, especially your PKGBUILD. I assume you've read the AUR guide, but you should also see http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arc … _Standards.
The thing with this soundtouch is that configure looks for the debian one, informed by pkgconfig. Ours is "soundtouch-1.0" and not "libSoundTouch". I need you to confirm whether configure builds with liblo. Another strange behaviour is that building with "--disable-liblo" fails with the same soundtouch error when in fact configure already knows it exists, so tell me if it's not the same case on your side. I've notified the developer of these issues.
I need real, proper pen and paper for this.

IS your patch only for making it compilable in GCC 4.3? (because I did downgrade to 4.2 to compile)...
EDIT: Seems to be compiling, but nope, no support for liblo...

Hmm, there's no *.so library file as far as pacman -Ql goes. I'm not able to reproduce this, so someone else will have to clarify then I'll have an idea of where to look. Look inside the debian soundtouch package, it doesn't have that either.

Well it actually HAS one, in the debian package (grabbed from lenny), but it seems to be a symlink...

Did you remove the debian-related files from the system? Also, build with gcc43. It looks strange though, I didn't notice configure searching for any .so related to soundtouch.
