Latex and ugly fonts

Hi, i'm writing a paper and a thesis in Latex using Kile, even if this is unrelevant since i've the same problem with Texmaker too, when i try to export the pdf file, and I experience teh same problem even from the command line if i use pdflatex filename.tex, the font are ugly and not well defined, they seems like they are displayed in a screen with very low resolution if you understand what i mean. This is weird in my opinion since i don't have a single problem with fonts in any other situation and more my fonts are always weel antialiased and filtered with -lcd patch.
How can i solve this problem? It's quite annoying and unluckily i'm in a hurry...thanks a lot

Re: Latex and ugly fonts

Hi,

use the T1 fonts, they are a lot more beautiful. See e.g. http://dsanta.users.ch/resources/type1.html for more information.
