I'm compiling my kernel for additioanl support. However, I'm missing something. What selections should I choose to enable the Fn+F1 Fn+F2 on my keyboard to control the brightness. When I do a clean install of archlinux, they work automatically and very well. but now I need to choose them manually and I dont know which options I need to choose. I have an HP. this is the output of lspci:

you could try it the other way around: Use the archlinux kernel configs (located in /usr/src/.config I think) and deselect the options you don't want
