Using terminus font makes boot looks crazy.

Heres another problem im having an issue with. Ive changed my font to terminus.

in my rc.conf i put:

 consolefont="ter-v16b"

what happens on boot is wierd. First it goes through a couple of lines of things being started and finishing with a status of done.
note that when this is happening the default font is being used.
soon after it changes to the terminus font.

When the change takes place all the history changes to hieroglyphs, that the only way i can describe.

If possible i would like the terminus font to be used rite away instead of it changing in the middle of the boot sequence.

Re: Using terminus font makes boot looks crazy.

To apply the font during boot, just add the keymap hook to your /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and rebuild the image. See http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mkinitcpio for more information.

Before I added the keymap hook to my /etc/mkinitcpio.conf the terminsfont was properly loaded (CONSOLEFONT="ter-v16b"), so I don't know what could be the problem..sry
