[Solved] Problem with Gedit

I don't know how it started to do this but now when I type it deletes whatever is in front of the cursor.  Like its replacing the text instead of inserting it... I'm pretty sure its some sort of setting but I can't have it do this because I do a lot of editing.

I was playing around with Anthy so maybe that was what changed it.

Lol, the problem was SCIM I guess, when I turned it off it stopped.  Kind of annoying when you want to type Japanese though..
