Problems With Ethernet

Well I have two ethernet devices eth0 and eth1. eth0 is a nic that I use to connect to an old xbox so that I can play against people without needing a Live account. eth1 is the ethernet jack integrated into my motherboard. The problem is whenever I try to connect to anything it always uses eth0 and I'm not sure how to set the default to eth1 instead.

Any help is much appreciated

Re: Problems With Ethernet

The wiki provided me with the help I needed to get my network set up.

I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of editing your rc.conf.

I would just comment out everything for eth0, and then put in configuration for eth1.

Re: Problems With Ethernet

I did that, there's nothing in there for eth0 now (there was nothing there for eth1 before), so that's not the problem. Thanks anyways.
