HP Pavilion blown out

I`ve experienced these things twice on my Arch already. I don`t know if it`s just a hardware failure.
During my multitask job on Arch suddenly the music from Amarok choked and I`ve lost keyboard and touchpad control.

The worst thing is that after forced shutdown even BIOS couldn`t get up. After few shutdowns I`ve decided to unplug and plug the power wire again (I`m using my laptop without a battery) and just then BIOS responded.
However alarming accident. hmm
