When I run Opera as root (I did so accidentally for about 15 seconds the other day and realized this) it appears to follow my GTK theme. When I run it as a regular user, however, this is not the case. Furthermore, when I run VirtualBox (another QT app) as root it also appears to follow my GTK theme! As a regular user, nope. Any ideas on what's going on here?
Edit: Solved by installing qtconfig-3 using a .deb from the debian sid repo and pkgextract, which I grabbed from the AUR. Of course, it's still using a QT theme but now I can change the QT theme to look similar to my GTK. What I had done before was modified the QT4 theme using qtconfig. I guess Opera uses QT3. It still doesn't explain why Opera run as root appeared to be using the changes I'd made to QT4 theme though. A bit confused, but not willing to investigate further, atm.
