Infinite loop somewhere in kernel after fixing corrupted ext3 fs

Hey everyone,

Just today I had a filesystem issue where it couldnt write to the disk anymore for some unknown reason. After I rebooted I got several errors after the check completed and refused to boot after it found imagic tag set on a node. So I did e2fsck -y and that solved the problem and was able to boot into the system again. However ever since then I have noticed that there is something using all the CPU cycles on one of my cores yet top nor the GNOME System Monitor show anything using any amountable portion of the CPU. So I am puzzled and I can only assume that something went wrong in the kernel somewhere. Although because I have never had this issue before I really have no idea.

Thanks!
