MPD Problem

I've got a bit of a problem with MPD, whenever I play any song, it doesn't play anything, and goes to the next track, it ends up constantly doing this, not playing any music.
The files are fine, as I can play them in Windows, and my sound config is fine, because I can play them in VLC.
I think this may have something to do with the kernel update I did.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: MPD Problem

Change your mpd.conf to "verbose" logging and check the log - although it's typically indicative of mpd not being able to access your audio output device. Either fix your mpd.conf entry for your audio_output or try commenting out the audio_output entirely and see if mpd can autodetect it.

Re: MPD Problem

My audio_output was, and always has been commented out,  should I try and manually configure it?

This is my /proc/asound/cards

 0 [NVidia ]: HDA-Intel - HDA NVidia
HDA NVidia at 0xfe024000 irq 22
 1 [Audio ]: USB-Audio - USB Audio
USB Audio at usb-0000:00:0b.0-3, full speed

Card 0 is the one I want to use, I never use card 1 in Arch.
