Accidentally logged out of Gnome during VNC session (Solved)

The title says it all; I'm stuck with SSH, and x11vnc won't start when no one is logged in. I didn't know this. Now I know lol

Is there any way to log myself back in so I can start x11vnc again?

Harry

EDIT: Stopped GDM manually, created an .xinitrc file with "exec gnome-session" in it, and then ran xinit. Piece of cake smile

I know this is marked "solved," but is there any way to give myself the GDM login screen so gnome-settings-daemon functions properly?
