Hello, I used to make firefox work better with dark themes by following a guide changed the colors of forms or buttons(?), but this doesn't work with 3.0, any got any alternative guide?

Firefox now takes values from your GTK themes, not the userChrome.css. Unless you can find a way to change GTK themes for particular apps, you might have to just change your theme.

Yeah, it's okay that most of the gui follows the gtk theme but the the values on the buttons should not be taken from there.

I have a dark GTK theme I'm using and don't see a problem yet with Firefox3's interface. I mean I don't have to change anything to make text boxes more readable.
What GTK theme are you using? I use this GTK theme and this is what google.com looks like under firefox3:

Raise dead on an old thread because I've got this one figured out, mostly.
Go into your FIREFOX/res directory (for me /opt/firefox-bin/res) and edit forms.css. Remove any line that starts with -moz-appearance.
This will allow your old dark theme fixes for firefox2 to work again.
