pypanel error

I installed the pacman version of pypanel and when i tried to run it, i got this.

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/pypanel", line 948, in <module>

locale.Error: unsupported locale setting

Is your locale set?
uncomment the locales you want in /etc/locale.gen then run `locale-gen`
