I'm using KDEmod. If I install Gnome...

Will the Gnome applications show up in my KDE menu and vice versa?  I want to keep the DE's separate except for applications that aren't tied to a DE.  How can I do this?

I believe gnome only shows gnome-apps in the menu... But I'm not sure

The last time I did that, more than 2 years ago, they did showed up in both, making the menu, a bit unpleasent tot he organized eye.

I believe there's some package/tweak allowing packages of one DE to sit under one menu entry in the other DE's menu, but I don't remember in which direction it worked.
