SLiM locks on SIGKILL

Hi all,

As subject states, my SLiM locks on SIGKILL (when doing '/etc/rc.d/slim stop' for example), or any other interrupt. It still sits on VT7, though it's totally dead. I also get 100% CPU consumption on slim process.

Has anyone run into similar problem (x86_64 here)?

I has already tried building from SVN, but it solved nothing. Debugging with GDB revealed SLiM hangs at XCloseDisplay (so I guess it's not SLiM bug), and examining backtrace shows xcb_wait_for_reply being last called function.

Any idea, anyone?

Re: SLiM locks on SIGKILL

You could at least try to "/etc/rc.d/slim stop" and respond with "works great here"...

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)
