cant mount pendrive

A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member "Mount" error name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal")

is the message i get when i try to mount it can someone explain what is wrong and how i fix it

Add yourself to the storage group as root:

gpasswd -a <your user name> storage
