[SOLVED] Nvidia Update + X Server Display Configuration Page

Hi all!

I've updated my system, and the new 173.14.05 nvidia driver was installed.

Everything is working fine, but, when i open the Nvidia control panel (Nvidia X Server Settings), and open the X Server Display Configuration Page, it shows me the folowing error:

-----
Unable to load X Server Display Configuration page:

Failed to parse the following modeline of display device
0x00010000 'Seiko' connected to GPU-0 'GeForce 8400M GS':

source=edid :: "nvidia-auto-select"  71.260  1280 1292 1356 1456  800 803 806 816  -HSync -VSync
-----

The main problem is that i can't anymore plug the laptop to the TV, because was on that page with i used to activate the external monitor (btw, is there another way to do it?).

Should i install back the previous driver? or there's something that i can do about it?

Any help will be apreciated!

Re: [SOLVED] Nvidia Update + X Server Display Configuration Page

Hello tongue

Can you try this command :

LC_ALL=C

in a console ?

Or :

LC_ALL=C nvidia-settings

Seems to be a small bug concerning locales in nvidia driver.

Hope they solve it asap   smile
