I suddenly lost the ability to see old commands by using the up arrow in konsole, Is there a way to get it back?

Re: konsole up arrow old command issue

What happens when you enter the 'history' command? What do your /etc/inputrc and ~/.inputrc look like?

set meta-flag on
set input-meta on

set output-meta on

$if mode=emacs

"\e[4~": end-of-line

"\e[5D": backward-word
"\e\e[C": forward-word
"\e\e[D": backward-word
"\e[1;5C": forward-word
"\e[1;5D": backward-word

# for rxvt
"\e[8~": end-of-line

# for non RH/Debian xterm, can't hurt for RH/DEbian xterm
"\eOH": beginning-of-line
"\eOF": end-of-line

# for freebsd console

Re: konsole up arrow old command issue

This issue is solved it seems the num lock should be on for the up arrow to work...weird!
