how to install one or two programs from kde

hi!

my english is not good, so thats why i'll stay breef. I've just jesterday installed arch on my laptop, and this night on my main desktop computer...usually it takes other OS-es longer to get on the main computer ;-)
so, the question is: how can i install just one or two programs from the kde family, like for example kopete or kmix?

i couldn't find it anywhere in the wiki.

Re: how to install one or two programs from kde

kde is not splitted in archlinux, as we have the policy to make packages available as upstream intended, so you would have to install for example the whole kdenetwork for kopete if you want to go the official way.

Of course you can always just build the module you need: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mak … E_packages
and for some there may already be packages in AUR.

Then there is the kdemod community project (http://kdemod.ath.cx) which offers splitted kde builds.
