Hi,
I did a pacman -Syu around a month ago and then conky broke. Conky just says:
Conky: desktop window (10f) is root window
Conky: drawing to desktop window
Conky: drawing to double buffer
Cokny: MPD error: problems getting a response from "localhost" on port 6600 : Connection refused
Segmentation fault
So after this I tried downgrading conky in /var/cache/pacman/package, but that didn't help. I suppose that means it's some library that's not working well with conky. I updated often after that, but nothing has improved. I don't think anyone else has this problem.
Does anyone has any idea what's wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Hi I found out the problem: it was script that says
${if_empty $mpd_title}Silent$endif
that's causing conky to break. if_running and if_existing works fine, ${if_empty mpd_title} would not break conky, but the above script doesn't work.
At the moment I just deleted that if clause. But for curiosity's sake, are there any workarounds? Or I just have to live with it? Thanks.
